Australia’s Jodie Henry has announced her retirement from competitive swimming. She has represented her country in Commonwealth Games and in Olympic competition. Among the highlights of her swimming career, Jodie Henry once held the world record for the 100 metre freestyle:
“… The official announcement came only because the triple Olympic gold medallist had finally got around to filling out the retirement form which will take her off the register for drug-testing.
“I decided a few months ago that I was not coming back,” she said.”
